SERVICES — WEB DEVELOPMENT
When an app is the right answer.
Native and cross-platform apps for the jobs a website genuinely cannot do, scoped and quoted before anything is committed.
An app is a long-term commitment: app stores to publish through, review cycles to pass, and ongoing updates as the operating systems move underneath you. That is worth it when you need offline use, a device camera or scanner, push notifications people act on, or a tool staff open every day. When none of that applies, a well-built website reaches more people with less to maintain, and we will say so rather than take the work.
What this covers
A straight recommendation first
We work out whether a website, a web application, or a store-published app actually fits, and put the reasoning in writing.
Platform choice
Cross-platform where it suits the job and native where it does not, decided on your requirements rather than our preference.
Store submission
App Store and Google Play listings, assets, privacy declarations, and the review process handled for you.
Backend and integrations
The accounts, data, and connections behind the app built alongside it, not bolted on afterwards.
A release and update plan
How versions, testing, and operating-system updates will be handled, written down, so the app does not quietly rot after launch.
With the free build
The free build covers a website, not an app, and the two solve different problems. If an app follows later, your site will keep working as the public front door while the app handles the parts that genuinely need a device.
Free build on an eligible hosting plan. Terms on the offer page.
Frequently asked questions
Do we really need an app, or will a website do?
Usually a website does. Apps earn their place when you need offline access, device hardware, or notifications people act on. We give you that assessment before quoting, and we are happy to talk you out of an app.
What happens after the app is published?
Apps need ongoing maintenance, because Apple and Google keep changing what they require. We set out which updates will be needed and how they are handled before you commit, so the ongoing obligation is clear from the start.
